By creating an account or using Fishy, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use Fishy.

Fishy reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Modified terms will be announced via the app at least 7 days in advance.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account on Fishy.

If you are under 18, you need permission from your parents or guardian to use Fishy, especially to conduct transactions.

Fishy is primarily available to users in Belgium and the Netherlands.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your login details secure and never share them with others.

You may not create accounts for others without their permission, and you may not have more than one account per person.

If you suspect your account has been hacked, report this immediately via our contact details.

Fishy is a platform for aquarium enthusiasts. You may use the app to:

• Share posts about your aquarium and fish
• Buy and sell second-hand aquarium equipment
• Chat with other users
• Keep track of your tank management

It is strictly prohibited to use Fishy for:

• Posting illegal, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harassing, threatening, or insulting other users
• Selling prohibited, illegal, or protected animals or products
• Posting spam, unauthorized advertising, or fake profiles
• Attempting to access systems or data of others
• Violating the intellectual property rights of others

Violations may lead to the removal of content and/or termination of the account.

Fishy provides a platform for listings but is not a party to transactions between users. Fishy does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the products offered.

Agreements, payments, and the transfer of goods take place entirely outside of Fishy. Fishy is not responsible for disputes, damages, or losses during transactions.

We recommend handing over goods in person at a public location and always receiving payment before handing over items.

You retain the rights to the content you share via Fishy (photos, texts, messages). By posting content, you grant Fishy a non-exclusive license to display and store it within the app.

You may not post content to which others hold copyright or other rights, unless you have permission to do so.

The logo, name, and design of Fishy are the property of Fishy and may not be used without permission.

The use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Fishy, you also agree to our privacy policy.

Fishy is a platform provided "as is". We make no warranties about the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the app.

Fishy is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, loss of data, or other consequential damages resulting from the use of the app.

Our total liability is always limited to the amount you may have paid for using Fishy — currently zero, as Fishy is free.

You can delete your account at any time via the app. This will permanently delete all personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.

Fishy reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts for violating these terms, without prior notice.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in Belgium.

For Dutch users, the mandatory consumer law under Dutch law additionally applies.
